GET/api/v1/object/field/types

List the field types you can create.

List the field types you can create.

Returns one entry per field type. id is the value to send as type when you create a field. is_available is false for types the system creates itself (status, tag, provider_id); creating them yourself is rejected. can_column_relation tells whether a field of this type can be shown as an extra column of a relation. The list is not paginated.

Scope: object.read.

May a field of this type be picked as one of the fields a relation shows behind the linked record's name (display_columns, up to five)?

Published so that picker filters its options from the server's own rule instead of a hard-coded copy — a copy is a 422 waiting to happen the first time the list changes. Both gates the write path applies are folded in (allowed type AND not PII), so the flag is exactly what a save will accept.
