PATCH/api/v1/object/field/tag/{tagSlug}

Rename or recolor a tag.

Rename or recolor a tag.

Send any of label, color and icon; fields you omit keep their value. The tag's slug and value never change, so records that hold the tag keep it and show the new label. This response does not count usage: usage_count is 0 and units is empty. Read GET /object/field/tag/{tagSlug}/usage for the real numbers.

Scope: object.update.

Errors:

  • 400 — another tag already has this label (code: DUPLICATE_OPTION_LABEL).
  • 404 — no tag has that slug.
  • 422 — the body is invalid, for example a color that is not a hex color, or a property other than label, color and icon.
