POST/api/v1/object/data/{objectSlug}/{recordSlug}/duplicate

Duplicate a record.

Duplicate a record.

No request body. Creates a new record in the same object with the source record's values, links, files and assignees, and returns it in the same shape as POST /object/data/{objectSlug}. The copy's name gets a copy suffix. Computed values are recalculated, not copied. What could not be copied, such as linked records the credential cannot see or files that failed to copy, is listed in warnings.

Available only when GET /object/features reports record_duplicate: true; otherwise 404.

Scope: create.<object slug>, for example create.contacts.

Errors:

  • 403 or 404 — the source record does not exist, or the credential cannot view it.
  • 400 — the copy fails the same checks as a new record.
