POST/api/v1/object/field/tag/unit/{objectSlug}

Add a tag from a record of one object.

Add a tag from a record of one object.

Works like POST /object/field/tag and takes the same body, but needs write access to the object in the path instead of object.update. Use it when your app adds a tag while it edits a record. The object slug only decides the scope: the tag joins the workspace list and is available on every object. Renaming, reordering and deleting tags still need object.update.

Scope: update.<object slug>, for example update.contacts.

Errors:

  • 409 — a live tag already has this label. The error carries code: TAG_ALREADY_EXISTS and the existing tag's slug in data.slug.
  • 422 — the body is invalid, for example an empty label.
